How to Improve FPS in RLCraft + Optifine Settings

RLCraft is capable of running just as smoothly as regular Minecraft as long as you know what settings to change.

In this guide, I will demonstrate how to substantially increase your FPS in RLCraft without any substantially impactful graphical changes.

Obviously, it goes without saying that the more you disable the higher fps you get, but I'm here to help disable the least amount of features possible, while still reaching a playable amount of fps.

If you simply want to boost your fps, I've also added the optimal optifine settings that will improve fps without any graphical changes at all.

For RLCraft 2.9 the recommended Optifine version is 1.12.2 G5
RLCraft 2.9 will also feature tons of performance upgrades for even more fps

The mods directory is usually found in
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods

If you're using CurseForge by default it's in
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\curseforge\minecraft\Instances\RLCraft\mods

RLCraft is a Minecraft Modpack consisting of approximately 120 separate mods that have been bundled and tweaked by Shivaxi to create a challenging Minecraft fantasy world. The modpack is currently at version 2.8.2 and runs on Minecraft version 1.12.2.

While trying to survive this world you will discover dragons, castles, dungeons, skill systems, new crafting systems and if that wasn’t enough most of the mechanics of traditional Minecraft have been modified.

The modpack is specially designed to bring an incredibly hardcore and semi-realism challenge revolving around adventure and survival.
