Unpopular opinion: the bigger bezels prevent inadvertently selecting screen when holding the phone without a case. With a case, the bezels are hardly noticable.

Why do bezels matter? It’s a problem if it’s a micrometer bigger for you guys. We already got full screen covering the phone in 2018-2020. Sony, Red Magic, and ASUS ROG Phones have the best approach. Thin as possible while keeping the components.

Battery life could be bothersome but you don't have to enable smooth display

Is that the phone in porcelain (white)? It looks so much less yellow in this video than the ads for it.

I don't want the battery percentage showing and i hate the remaining time left rather than heads up percentage, i found a way to revert back to always showing battery percentage without activating show percentage when slightly pulling down the notification panel: disable device health services and percentage always there instead of.. until???

Better to just hold onto the 6a til at least the Android updates expire.
Wonder who will be the first to still have the pixel 8 for 7 years and how it will run.
With these phones getting multiple years updates for software, they should make replacing batteries easier.

Pixel problem is always battery and how long took charge, good fast charging probably making battery life shorter but why google can't still optimize their own OS to get advantage from longer battery use?

Overpriced as hell, wait till it goes on sale, then it's worth considering over Pixel 8 if you like the pixel experience
