"The future... The polar ice caps have melted, covering the Earth with water. Those who survived have adapted, to a new world." -- WaterWorld Narrator

This video contains a lot of speculation but almost no data. Exactly high high is the sea level rising? If Greenland once hosted much more grasslands and woods, doesn't that also mean there was less ice? Average global temperatures have increased 0.13 degrees C per decade. That does not seem to be a lot. Additionally, Greenland actually increases in ice coverage each winter when millions of tons of snow fall on it. Finally, what has the temperature of the ocean have to do with it? Unlike the South Pole, nearly all Greenland's snowpack in on land, not on the sea. How about more science and less misplaced sensationalism.

I am always hilariously surprised by the insatiable appetite for terror and those who love to dish it out.

Greenland was called "green" land because Vikings were there when 1st global warming occurred. They came across in their 2 cycle engine boats.

I was double checking when this vid cane out. 🤔 2 weeks. I wanna say this has been a mainstream issue for at least 10 years now. Why did the algorithm give this to me?

Greenland, soon to be the breadbasket of the world.

I think the name "Greenland" comes from the fact that when the first settlers arrived they arrived at Greenland's (south/east) coast, which is in fact actual green, but they knew nothing about the vastness of the entire island.

it is important to understand that the climate is changing but it is even more important to understand that the climate has always been changing ever since the earth was created.

Yes we've gone past the point of no return. It's no longer how do we stop it it's how do we live through it.

Actually until someone figure out how to regulate the sun and the weakening of the magnetic poles. There is little that can be done. However the earth has actually cooled in the last 8 years.

Dilution of oceanic rivers salinity is the biggest concern. 25 feet rise in sea level is absolutely preposterous

I would like to be scouring the areas where the ice has just melted for anything, maybe old weapons or rare gem stones, it would be cool to be the first to search after thousands of years

5 million years ago South America joined with North America totally rerouting the thermohaline circulation but before this happened for 45 million years it was Caribbean weather in the UK and life survived just fine. It wasnt until the joining of the 2 continents that brought about the cooling periods like we find ourselves in today, am i worried about a warming world, i am not based on what a warmer world looked like for 45 million years. It just annoys me all this climate change, if they want predicable weather open up the thermohaline circulation in Central America and we can all then just get on with our lives maybe even for another 45 million years without a bump in the road...

Tell them not to worry. The coming little nuclear war will straight everything nice and tidy ...😬

In the year 1995-97 the mean sea surface temperature for the first time stayed warmer than since records go back over 150 y ears. By 1999 it's a lot locked in warmer sea surface temperature that verifies a warming, among other things. On Earth most of the time the sea drives everything, at times other events alter the outcome, (the actual weather today).
These events include but are not limited to: Volcanic Eruptions, massive forest fires, a proton solar flare over level 14, asteroid collision on land, asteroid collision in ocean both very different outcome.
Nuclear war.
Things are accelerating and even corona ions from electric grid effect severe storms.

I was made aware of these facts in 1970 when my world created theE.P.A. to deal with pollution a very dirty word to the people who write papers for science.

Maybe they named Greenland after the spectacular displays of the Northern Lights.
