Pair the no AF Hilton Honors card with the Aspire and you add x5 to groceries and gas.
Points earned combine in the same honors points account.

4:20 I would guess the reason for this is a legal one. The credit card actually only gives you 14x. I can get the other 21x using any other payment method.

The reason for not advertising 34x for the Aspire is because if somebody already has Diamond status and applies for the Aspire, they would only be getting 14x more then. The card itself only gives you 14x. If I hold the Aspire, and use my Amex platinum instead to book a room, I get 20x. I guess they are just being technical

The Hilton aspire credit card is definitely a better card but man does the brilliant card look so much better and it's metal!

I wonder why many value Hilton points at .05-.06 I never gotten less .07 per point without taking in consideration the 5th night free. Right now the Hilton Aspire is by far the best hotel card and also a solid travel card. Thanks for the video!

Is the 14 vs 34 amounts due to you are the diamond member and have the benefits but you could be booking multiple rooms for multiple people.? I believe breakfest credit also only applies to member and 1 guest and ignores the other people staying in the other rooms. ?? If you get x34 points for multiple that would be great . Few months I will know the answer after a trip planned.

Great video.... I think that if you have the Platinum card it makes a lot of the multipliers and lounge access go away on both cards which leaves free nights and some credits the deciding factors. For the normal travelers I don't think that the super high end places are a yearly thing so i'm not sure that you can count those. Or the the Priority Pass since you get that with so many cards now (I have it on 3 cards). So really for me it is the Brilliant $300 dinning credit which brings it down to a $350 fee. Everything else I would use the Platinum or Gold card for.

Thanks for the video nice comparison. It looks like I got lucky and made the right choice a while back ago by picking up the Aspire Credit Card

Thanks, another worthwhile one. As usual, I saved your slides.

I did seriously consider the Bonvoy. I enjoy staying at the Ritz Carlton, and the FHR benefits I use at the Ritz Carlton stack with platinum status. So, just for that, I could get a couple of good vacations out of the Bonvoy. I do think it might be worth getting for me. That said, for work I usually stay at the Hyatt, and I am still optimizing that set up. And the Aspire is such a useful card, particularly for international travel. I feel like the Bonvoy has to be a low priority card.

I'd say that Hilton Diamond status and Marriott Platinum are comparable. Whereas Marriott Titanium/Ambassador > Hilton Diamond.

Overall I agree Hilton Aspire >> Marriott Brilliant.

The Hilton Aspire gives 3X on everything else, not 1X.

I usually stay at Hilton and Hyatt. Marriot haven’t enticed me enough to make the crossover. I’m team Aspire until they devalue it (which I fear is coming after Marriott’s “revamp”)

What am I doing wrong? I keep hearing that you can use the Hilton certificate has no limit, but I keep seeing only for standard rate.

Awesome video, man! Great comparison. It was very interesting to see how much better by the numbers the Aspire is. Still the king of co-branded CC's! Thanks for the info + video! The new slides were a nice add!

Just got the Hilton Aspire and I am very excited. Thinking of simplifying to that, SW priority, and venture X card. My wife doesn't like having to think too hard with the Chase setup - lol! Just worried about Capital one portal and customer service.

My favorite are the condescension and poking fun at AA 😂 more please!

Nice comparison Kostas! I think you're spot on with pretty much the rest of the credit card community that the Hilton Aspire is the definite overall winner. Of course, if you're like me and don't stay in any Hiltons, then that card would not be the best fit. Love the slides. I think the W/L slide is great! Overall with slides, I try to make them as simple as possible because when they are really busy and there's a lot of stuff on them, it's sometimes hard to follow the thought process. I also agree with another commenter that Hilton Diamond / Marriott Platinum are similar so I would make both of those a draw, but that's really just being nit-picky. Great work!

Great video here Kostas. The Bonvoy Brilliant refresh is definitely starting to make this a competition, but I'd still go with the Hilton Aspire. Both are great options though and really just depend on travel preferences for each consumer.

Isn't the base multiplier 3x on aspire??
