Card wise hilton aspire wins.

But overall Marriott has much much better properties than Hilton. Especially in the luxury spectrum, hilton footprints and hard products doesn’t even come close. Marriott dominates hilton especially in asia pacific region

You stated that both Aspire and Brilliant FNC are annual but the aspire comes same year and Brilliant is at renewal year making Aspire even better. You would have 2 FNC by the time the Brilliant gets one

I got a Marriott card from Chase with a sign up bonus of 5 certificates worth 250000 points. American express has got a long way to go to match that. only thing that would make marriot worth it is if MGM matches status with there new partnership

Doing some comparisons. With regards to hotel-level status, Hilton Aspire wins out. With Hilton Aspire, you are automatically in the top-tier hotel status. With Marriot Brilliant, you are automatically in the middle-tier status, kind of an insult to injury in a way. Perhaps one is paying just to have a metal credit card in the Marriot Brilliant while the Hilton Aspire is not. I would figure if you are paying the highest annual fee for a particular brand/chain you should get the top-tier status.

When Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant had the bonus of 50, 000 points for 6 nights at Marriott Bonvoy hotels. Is there a way to track that or see one's progress? Nothing on the Amex or Marriott portals. I contacted Amex and Marriott to no avail. I booked two rooms for two nights, same dates, and at the same property. I wanted to see if I would be getting 4 credited nights or 2 credited nights towards the bonus.

AMEX Hilton Aspire is soooo much better than the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant. IMO - the Aspire is the best co-branded hotel CC in the market 🏆🏆🏆 Thanks for the info + video!!!

I have both cards and I like better the Brilliant over the Aspire. The Platinum Elite status is Gold for me. I also prefer Marriott properties over Hilton properties. Still, I ❤ both cards.

For the Hilton Aspire. Does the 7X points on restaurants apply to all restaurants including fast food? It does not involve going to a selected list of restaurants or having to book a restaurant reservation through the card's portal site?

If you get the Aspire and you later want to downgrade to maybe a Surpass. Are you able to do that and keep your points?

Either your review is way out of date or you're purposely leaving off information about the Marriott brilliant card friend since when you are talking about status Platinum vs. Diamond breakfast and club lounge access for the Marriott... Which is far better than that offered by Hilton
