Thank you to my friends Pujan Thakkar and Sahabaj Khan for accompanying me to the Vikramshol rock inscriptions. During our trip, we found this relic of ancient India lying unmonitored, open to all, left exposed to damage and degradation. I urge the government of India and Odisha to protect this important piece of India's history.

I am from Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
I started loving Tamizh and Telugu languages from my childhood through movies. I have mastered Tamizh alphabets when I was just 14 year old and studying in class 9th. Though I have started learning it when I was in class 8th, I still remembered those days before Jio revolution, when I use to use Samsung keypad phone to learn it, I just use to open message, and type in Tamizh and note it down on paper and later on use to match it with Devanagari alphabet chart, I use write names and several Hindi and English words in Tamizh alphabet to practice at beginning I have faced problem due lack of study materials but thanks to cheap internet now I can read, write, and pronounce Tamizh words correctly.
However I still don't know Tamizh but I can form several simple sentences, and understand a lot of word in conversation.
Learning Tamizh, Telugu, Samskritam and Pali are one of the goals of my life.

The South Asia ancestry map just blew my mind...What an amazing diversity the Indian subcontinent has and how silly to think one language has power over the other !! Isn't every language beautiful in its own way. Thanks and Regards for this amazing video and letting us know the enigmatic world of Tamil.

Tamil people might seem very tough protecting their language and culture. But in reality they are so sweet they just want tamil to get its well deserving respect.
People from north who are in south should realise this and try to learn this worlds most beautiful language (acc to our scriptures)

Yes We Tamizh people are quite proud of our own culture and heritage and we are quite vocal about it, which I like. If you do not hold your yourself at a high esteem, who will do that for you?😊

Hinduism is regarded as a religious, cultural fusion and synthesis between ancient Dravidians and Indo-Aryans, and other local elements.

It is interesting how day before yesterday I saw a video by a foreigner linguist about Tamil and then yesterday I was discussing about the Indo Aryan migration with a friend. And then this is a nice coincidence that this video is a mixture of both.
