It's our(Tamil's ) duty to protect Tamil and it's not because of diravida party. They capitalise Tamil people sentiment.

T. R. Shesha Iyengar says:“The influence of Tamils on the culture of India has been ignored, because the literature which records the development of hindu religion was the work of hostile priesthood whose only object to magnify its own pretentions and deny everything that is Tamilian. But the truth is that Tamilians had already developed a civilization of their own, long before the Aryan civilization was transplanted into their midst……..Their civilization was more ancient than that of the Aryans……….They reached a high degree of civilization and as regards refinement and culture, they were more advanced than the shepherd Aryans”.

Kannada, tulu, Malayalam and telugu needs a support of sanskrit to survive, but tamil doesn't need sanskrit it have own words and vocabularies.

I'm not letting down any languages .Tamil holds a significant place in history and literature. It's recognized and appreciated globally, with many universities in countries like UK, China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, and Canada offering courses in Tamil language and literature.Harvard university honours tamil as the oldest language.Where tamil born that country opposes tamil now.
