I'm just going to be honest here: I orginally got this game just because I really wanted to see more of Breath of the Wild's characters, but the story's actually good and even heartwarming/emotional at times (everything related to Zelda's friendship with Terrako being a prime example).

This game does a much better job of making the Divine Beasts seem like incredibly powerful and awesome(in both senses) than BotW did. They really feel like forces of nature. In BotW they don’t seem as dangerous as the npcs are claiming. They mostly just sit around and while we’re told they’re going to/are doing bad things, it never really feels like they pose a threat. In this game, they rampage and do tons of damage. They meet the expectations we’re told to have for them.
