The story is actually the other way.
Russia wants to safely evacuate all the ordinary civilians so that they can capture the cities with complete force.
But Ukraine president will not allow the ordinary civilians evacuation because it knows that this is the only way that they can stop the Russian military because the Russian military will not open fire on civilians.
We need to understand here who is the culprit

I have been in Ukrania, so I can speak from that experience. My feel is that the Press will suffer shockwaves when at the critical moment the majority of civilians are Russian. Off course 200, 000 soldiers of the Ujranian army can make look all different but civilian people definetely Russian . Even Julia Timoshenko ex president nationalist, didn't speak Ukranian.

The issue seems to really be with Russia and Nato and those poor Ukrainians are just receiving the crosshairs.
If russia feels so threatened by nato or there is issues than shouldn’t talks rather be done with nato? Some agreement to leave eachother alone? Or something.
Because innocent people losing their lives, homes and families isnt really a solution

My guess is the people in those regions want to go elsewhere but Russia won't allow it? If that's the case, it would be wrong and heartless for Zelenskyy to 'force' them to go to 'enemy countries.' Then what? they'd have to be freed from Russia and Belarus later.
