If US President-elect Donald Trump delivers on his election promises, Russia and Ukraine could reach a peace deal in 2025. Trump has promised to quickly end the war, which started in early 2022 with Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. But an agreement between the two sides could prove elusive.

Trump is expected to send his special envoy to Kyiv on a fact-finding mission this week. His envoy has already published peace plan that would require some major concessions from Ukraine.

That is not a deal. That is a short victory for Russia...

"Russia is willing to compromise, but not at the expense of it's own interests". Somebody has not understood the meaning of the word "compromise".

It's "give Czechoslovakia to Germany to maintain peace" once again

In other words, "reward the agressor and war criminals"

Delayed NATO membership is such a naive part of that plan. 😂

3:41 "DW is banned from reporting inside Russia"

It's important to note that this was a mirror response to the EU banning Russian media outlets reporting in Europe back in 2022.

So you want the victim to bow down and allow land to be taken … what a crock

Security guarantees. LAMO. Budapest memorandum is not good enough?
Sanction relief? Not enough. Add a Nobel peace price for PUT IN just to sweeten the deal!

That's a good negation deal? Might as well just get a whole country to Russia. Trump is a joke.

In other words, this plan is just fast-forwarding the Russian advance, but without any Russian losses and with lifting the sanctions on Russia.

That's called a capitulation.

Ukraine is in a worse situation than what was initially proposed and agreed upon by all parties in the Minsk agreement.

What Kellogg fails to understand, is that if Russia gets to keep ANY Ukranian territory, then they win. It's how they think. It's was actually in they're old Soviet doctrine.
"Try to get it all, and if you only get some then at least you have something you didn't have before."
Kellogg is making a serious thinking error.

These plans are doomed to failure. How can anyone expect Ukraine to give up all those areas? In a few years Russia will be back for more, they just can't help themselves.
