In Norway we only get one version, so zero choice. We get the 91, 3 kWh. Reason i ordered the Sealion and not even considering Model Y is because of the inside of the cars, Tesla with only the mid mounted display and no display behind the steeringweel just dont sit well with me, and also all the missing buttons that makes most stuff needed to be done from the monitor. And i am sure there are a lot people like me out there that just dont like this at all. So strange that so litle money a display behind the steeringweel and some buttons can save Tesla to get more earnings, missing out on a lot of sales because of it.

Good info - well done. For me, the Performance AWD must be less than 60k drive away, otherwise I'm holding off until end 2025, more makes and models and price drops - Zeeker 7x, and Xpeng G9 looks interesting, but will be more than 2 years old when it hits this small right hand drive market.

I think there are enough BYDs on the road now that they are a well enough known brand. Still, Tesla outsell other brands in a major way but since the Sealion would be a challenger to Tesla Model Y, will start to chip away at its dominance - but only if it priced enough to reach a broader market (as Tesla have just narrowed their reach by jacking up the price of the Model Y by $7k)

Will wait for the version 2 blade battery, The charging speeds need to be better and expected the AC charging to be at least 11KW

Same in Thailand their top is the UK mid version. There is a case for less battery less weight and less cost. Also if a country has few 800 volt charging stations having 800 volt can be a disadvantage.

I still don't understand why the BYD Sealion 7 is not a full BEV version of the Sealion 6 as i was hoping for..

Wow, we still getting the older tech, that is not good, needs better dc charging. Should sell well, but Tesla Y will likely still be number 1, sadly.

The way BYD Australia are going expect a few features are stripped from these cars to maintain Todds profit margin....The start of stripped down version of these cars has started with Atto3 and Dolphin, more will follow and the prices are going to be stupid again I am sure....Dont forget BYD's stupid servicing charges dont forget to add them in as well.
Of course the old platform as well, money saver for the company.. Oz Company to BYD boss, ozzies are suckers give us the old platform we will still sell them.

Tesla's days of dominance are definitely not having done anything for years; why does anyone think otherwise. A functioning CEO would have kept the brand relevant with an increasing range with competitive features - instead HIS cash-cow treatment of the company and its shareholders shareholders, as a financial prop for HIS personal private dalliances, has brought the company to a smoke blowing pumped furiously by his 'listed' pumper BANK underwriters !!!.
