Does anyone know how using 2 different dates (say in cell B9 4/12/20 and in B10 4/20/20) and put the beginning date in cell B19=B9 and then the get a formula in C19 to stop on the first Saturday's date (4/4/20)?

WEEKDAY formula returns a number based on the day of the week. I really don't see the point of this function. Who wants the day of the week returned as a number? In order to display as a day of the week you have to go into cell formatting and tell Excel to write out the name of the day with "ddd". I don't understand the point of this. Who cares where you "start" your week? Every date in Excel corresponds to exactly one number, and that date(number) corresponds to exactly one day name (Monday, Tuesday, etc.). The WEEKDAY function should just return the name associated with that numerical value. Or am I missing something?
