One time, we played a gig at a winery that anticipated a large crowd. They hired two bartenders, three cocktail waitresses, and six people showed.
We gave those eleven people the best performance ever. Playing outside the box, leaving the set list, changing songs, chords, and even tempos without stopping or talking to each other. Four minute songs blended to 20 minutes. Those present appreciated what we laid down. At the end, I congratulated the band for the best Blues performance of our lives. I couldn't finish, becoming emotional. My guitar player, Double L, shared the same measure. (No pun intended)

I love those moments. When y'all start clicking on the same page & the groove just starts flowing. I'm pretty sure it's the best feeling I've ever experienced (& as a 41 yr old metalhead, I assure you, I've experienced a lot). And the journey to get there, brings some of the best memories, as well as, inside jokes that just can't be retold, no matter how hard we try lol you just had to be there. 😉✌️🤘🖖Don't stop!
