The ScreenRant Black Myth: Wukong situation only gets more hilarious. First they removed Samar Abesian’s name “for her safety”.
Now her LinkedIn is DELETED after it’s been found out she worked for a PR firm, Splendid Consultancy. I can’t find an archive to her LinkedIn but the website connecting her to the group is below.
This is what these activists do. They can’t even stand by their bullshit. I stand by everything I’ve said and won’t hide because I said something that was wrong.

UPDATE: the reviewer from Screenrant is also employed at one of these DEI firms (an SBI clone called Splendid). She quickly deleted her social media and Screenrant changed the author to 'Screenrant team' and said it was because of her safety. Insane

As a female gamer, even i know that black myth wukong doesn't need to have a female character. Like seriously y do we need one in it🤨? The main character is Wukong, its HIS story, not some random female npcs. I dont mind inclusion in games, but most games like this dont need it, and it doesn't need to be forced into games either. If gamers r going to start complaing about "lack of dei" than ur not a real gamer🤷‍♀️. This game is based on Chinese literature not american so u wont be seeing a black person or american or british person so to give a game based off of chinese literature a low score cause theres no Dei is ridiculous 🤦‍♀️ these journalists have ruined games with their ratings which is y i enjoyed games back in the day when game journos didnt exsist. Im still hyped for wukong my husband and I love journey to the west story and were excited to play it as a video game so journos can go screw off and let Us the Real gamers make our own descions about games💁‍♀️

BREAKING NEWS: Samar Abedian the "game reviewer" is listed as a Senior Writer at SreenRant and also works at Splendid Communications as a PR Intern, a diversity company in London, England.

The ScreenRant reviewer even stated she was in Chapter 2. Black Myth Wukong has 6 chapters so they only beat the chapter 1 boss, got to chapter 2 and filed their review on the game.

What a shit game reviewer. The reviewer even contradicts herself, under pros lists Combat is fluid and fun as well as Great deversity in items and mechanics and then under cons says the game gets repititive and she only got to chapter 2 of 6.

Heard the author of this review is actually a consultant for a sweet baby Inc like company and removed her LinkedIn profile, probably some others. So basically sweet baby wrote the review. Trying to make up a false negative mark on a review for "lack of diversity" in the monkey game.
Can a games journalist or outlet be added to DEI detected?
