@notsofamous08 The phantom power requirement of the mic should not be at issue at all. It works well with many interfaces that supply 48 Volt phantom power. Please check the mic and cable and its connector with another interface and if you still have problems, contact Behringer directly for service or repair.

ive had this since it came out, its been ig 12 years? daily driving it. still works after all those years. using it with win 10 and 11 no problems, i havent downloaded the drivers though as they introduce latency.

You can connect via MIDI cable or 1/4" instrument cable to the Fast Track Pro, Fast Track Ultra, Fast Track Ultra 8R (1/4" only)
USB is used to connect the interface to your computer.

@worlverine pina These and other M-Audio interfaces offer Full ASIO 2.0, WDM, MME, Core Audio support. You may want to check directly with Steinberg (Cubase) - but you may need to upgrade to the current Cubase 6 version for full compatability.

Adobe Auditon 3.0 and the M-Audio Fast Track interfaces are Core Audio and ASIO compliant and should play nicely topgether
on a Mac or PC

I have the Fast Track Pro, owned it for 2 years now. I bought it as my second interface when I was building my studio. It did the job very efficiently. The preamps sound great, even compared to my presonus studio channel. Keep in mind you cant save or export with pro tools LE unless you have an ilok though. The only issue I ran into was when I bought my 4 KRK monitors, you can only use two, so I got a new interface. But I still use my fast track, in fact its right in front of me now. Buy it!

The interface will act as your soundcard. Both choices are excellent interfaces for you. The M-Audio product is now discontinued and has replaced by the Fast Track Ultra USB Interface with Pro Tools SE Software (B&H # MAFTUPTSE). For the money, the Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 (B&H # FOS8I6) is hard to beat.

You can't reamp with this interface. You would need something like the Radial Engineering X-Amp - Active Re-Amplifying Device. Go to the BHPHOTOVIDEO website and search for item code RAXA

"Best" will be determined first by what you need in terms of features and inputs and outputs. But if you only need a 2 Input/2 Output interface then choose the B&H # MAFTU2PTSE. Signal present at front outputs 7 and 8 is duplicated at the S/PDIF outputs. The S/PDIF output signal is identical to the output of Line Outputs 7/8. The S/PDIF output will also support pass-through of AC-3 or DTS encoded surround formats.

I see the input for the 1/4" instrument cable on the Fast Track but I dont see how you could connect a 1/4" cable to the Fast Track Pro. Is it possible? It seems from this comment that it is but I am wondering how?

I cant reamp with the fast track pro. which output do I use? theres no info in the manual regarding reamping. nothing works
