I sit down every month with sheet of paper and the bank statements noting every payment in and out, checking every bill, to make sure they only take what’s right. Let me tell ya if you think it hurts paying the bills right them all down at the start and end of every month, checking them it hurts twice as hard and makes you hunt for better value everywhere.
An hour or so a month can save you a chunk of money, and you see where your money goes.

I do screen shot and add text of budget and current remaining amount. It helps me to adjust as needed, easily on my cell.
