There are many ways to cut up watermelon. We love this technique because there is no rind, so the watermelon takes up less space in the fridge, and you end up with perfect bite-sized pieces.

If you feel uncomfortable slicing the pieces over a bowl, you can just cut them up on your cutting board and transfer them into a bowl using a bench scraper.

Hurry up and practice this technique before watermelon season is over - pumpkins are already in the grocery stores!
