In reality, I agree that a wedding dress should represent the individual's personality.

There was an episode on say yes to the dress, where the bride was a biker and did not want a wedding dress but rather a wedding jumpsuit.

I thought it was a strange idea at first and said "do jumpsuits for brides even exist?" kinda like Penny and Bernardette's reaction.

Then the bride tried the jumpsuit on and she looked gorgeous and it really suited her because it matched her personality.

Which is why that dress suited her!
