I don't follow the show so I don't know the details BUT IF Sheldon is somebody who has an ASD diagnosis then he will be 'rigid' and changes will be 10x more challenging to him than we could imagine. So it's not an attitude it's an innate disability to get used to change. A way to tackle it is to inform him of the change prior to it happening and giving him time to process the change.

Sheldon was jerk for making Amy change her new look I know change is uncomfortable for him but its not to everyone Change helps become better people just because Sheldon's uncomfortable doesn't mean he has to bring everyone in to they all had a right to hate him in the beginning

0:31 Even her personality and the way she express herself show so much confidence I love it <3 Sometimes people think that a make over or trying to look good is only for physical appearence, BUT, it also have an influence in our emotions, on how we feel, and this is a great example, obviously with a little help, because sometimes we like an style but maybe it doesn't look good on us, but then with some support like Amy had thanks to Raj, she can find a look that she likes, made her comfortable and made her look good at the same time. That's why I really hate that Sheldon erased her beautiful smile with his comments and how sad she sounds when she said she like the way she look. T-T

Why is everyone surprised by Sheldon's reaction? He is and always will be, selfish, arrogant and stiff; unable or unwilling to change. All the world must revolve around him. God how I hated him through all 12 seasons!

Sheldon prides himself on being superior. The best species (I’ve noticed) adapt to change with little to no effort. So, I guess Sheldon is not as superior as he thought. 😜
