Do Humans Need Meat In Their Diets

Question from Recent Live Q&A
Do some people need meat for their health (& help food sensitivities that make plant based hard)
Online it can seem like you can get the same health benefits from meat-based or plant-based diets. But it's not controversial in the scientific world that plant-based eating is superior for your organs, your cells, and your immune system.
My results reversing diseases in thousands of people over more than a dozen years using nutrition backs this up. And I have helped many folks recovery when meat-based diets failed them or made them sicker.
Animal products are harmful to our bodies on many levels: they are inflammatory, cancer-causing, hear-attack-inducing and very hard on kidneys. While some folks can tolerate some animal products, there is no benefit you get from them.
Some might claim you need meat for vitamins like B12 or D, but everyone should supplement those based on their lab levels regardless of diet. Protein comes up a lot, but protein is more than sufficient in plants.
Now any improvement in diet over an inflammatory disease-causing diet can create improvements in health. For some people even small improvements make a significant difference. For others they need a more intensive intervention to get those results.
If you give up anything inflammatory, whether it's dairy, processed foods, oils or meats, you will feel better.
If you ditch them all & eat an unprocessed plant-based diet, that is even healthier.
If you add hyper-nourishment, even better than that. That’s where anti-inflammatory benefits shoot up!
Pure hyper-nourishment, that is the most anti-inflammatory diet possible, which will cause the fastest reversal of disease and repair of cells.
So if your diet is working for you and you feel great, that is wonderful! If you need to get healthier, then start making these changes and embrace healthier eating.
You can always add hyper-nourishment to any diet, to get true anti-inflammatory beneficial nutrients, even while you are still working on tapering off the inflammatory foods.

I have been vegan for 50 plus years. No problems at all at 70, no pains anywhere.

Hi Dr. Brooke. I just found your channel 2 days ago and I am currently pregnant. I am on my second day of your smoothie and I can’t believe how much more energy I have, my bloating has gone down, and I haven’t been as nauseated. Can you please make a video of how you ate and your overall lifestyle during your pregnancies? Thank you so much for all of this knowledge and wisdom!

I read some research that demonstrated the different effects of meat and plant protein on damaged kidneys. The researchers were able to turn on and off hyper filtration when giving patients the same amount of protein from either beef or soya beans.
This is just one example of how our bodies prefer plant food and struggle to cope with animal products.

I have watched several of your videos, talks, presentations now and I want you to know that you’re making a positive difference in my life. I’ve been so sick with a VARIETY of awful sx’s that mirror vertigo and heart issues. It’s been the most awful time of my life. Oh how we take our health for GRANTED when it’s good! I pray that I NEVER, EVER take a “good day” for granted again. I’ve been taking some of your suggestions and I’m viewing my hyper-nourishment and hydration as my daily “medicine”. How I wish that I would have been introduced to you earlier (like prior to 2019 when my health took a drastic dive)!

Yes, I’m doing the hyper-nourishment and hydrating, yet, I am still struggling with the foods that I enjoy. I am not a great cook and that doesn’t help. On the bright side, I’m not addicted to sugar or to fried foods. But, if I understand the protocol accurately I need to completely cut out meat? I had a taco yesterday (organic beef). I guess I just wonder why I still feel hungry even after my smoothie. I drink 1/2 of the smoothie a few hours after waking up and the other 1/2 in the evening. I have ramped up my H2O intake as well. I just still need help!

Feeling encouraged and discouraged at the same time 🙏🏼

Yes, I wish I could convince everyone about what the optimal diet of humans should be. But due to so many confounding factors, including how addictive food is and culture/traditions, I can only lead by example…and when people do get interested, I have so much joy pointing them towards Hyper-nourishment. Thank you for the gift of Hyper-nourishment 💕🙏

Yes! And don't forget the Blue zones ☄️☄️☄️ are mostly plant based 💚💚💚 it is confusing for many so many functional med doctors in the natural med community that promote meat/Paleo /keto etc! Sucks . ....I stay in my bubble of whole plant foods and all organic always 💫🤍🍃 5 years thriving 🌸

Dr. G,
What are the best plant based iron sources? I feel weak if I don't get some kind of animal protein on an occasion. I'm anemic and the plant based protein does not improve anemia. Thank you

The ideal diet is mostly vegetarian, but meat too. I'd say depending on the person 80% vegetarian 20% meat, or 85% vegetarian 15% meat. Meat is the best source of amino acids, so her saying no positive effects is incorrect. Meat is an amazing nutrient rich source of food, but shouldn't be over used. Balance your diet accordingly combined with exercise.

WOW. This lady is completely lost. And stop calling bacon cheeseburgers MEAT. The meat in a burger is the beef and the bacon. I promise you that your health outcome will be vastly different if you don’t eat the bread, condiments, fries, soda, and vegetables along with it. What crap information this is.

For Bible believers, God’s original design was the garden of Eden…plant based.
