I agree! What surprise me the most is the battery. I watch a 4k movie while I’m in a bus for hour and a half. Only drained 4% of battery 😮

I am quietly saving for one for my wife...she needs a new machine, one that is reliable and has a long lasting battery. It is also a form factor that she is used to, and the fanless design is fantastic. The always on feature will work well. The new keyboard will be good for her. I am excited about it.

I just got my M1 MacBook Air. I went back and forth between it and the pro but am so happy I went with the Air instead. It is absolutely amazingly fast, portable and quiet. The battery life also completely blows me away. I really hope that when Apple does finally update the MacBook lines and release the M2 or M1X (whatever it is called), they keep the M1 around to create an even more affordable laptop with the original M1.

I absolutely LOVE my M1 Pro, and the Air is like 99% of the same experience. I've heard the fans turn on... twice in a month? And I stream on twitch, play a game, and have a TV hooked up to it. It's insane.

3 months in and I could say that this is the best laptop I've ever had and 2nd cheapest. This also beats all the PCs I've used in my entire life (school and work were all Windows PCs). I do not regret this purchase at all. Great job Apple.
