Should you take a gap year? Is it a good idea to take a gap year? Is taking a gap year worth it? In this video I go over 3 reasons why you should take a gap year! I try my best to keep this video short and sweet and hopefully help you make a final decision. Obviously you shouldn't base this important life decision from watching online videos like this but, it should act as a guide in the right direction.

Im in the process of applying to Uni right now and between depression and overall lack of motivation im finding it really hard to decide what I want to do and I feel like taking a gap year will help me find myself and gain a better understanding of the direction I want to go in. I feel like taking time out of education will help reduce stress and allow me to do independent learning and online courses, narrow down on career paths and hopefully give me an opportunity to freelance. This video was helpful thanks for the insight.

I agree with all of these points! I almost rushed myself into going to university, but then realised I was better off without it. I decided to take an apprenticeship instead, and it is one of the best decisions I have made yet!

great video, do you still think it would be worth taking giving the corona situation. given even normal employees are being laid down at work it would be hard to find work experience/internships. also travelling looks less likely .
i am having doubts about my uni choice but struggling to find something that i 100% actually want to do.
