The Lexus RX has been a trendsetter since its first generation debuted in 1998, being one of the first luxury crossover SUVs and the first hybrid in its class in 2005. It remains a solid choice, known for combining comfort and efficiency. The fifth generation was redesigned last year, and for 2024, Lexus introduces the RX 450+ plug-in hybrid model.

Styling is not for me. Looks overly heavy in the front. $70k is too high a price as well, especially for something with a CVT.

Let's be real and brutally honest. Lexus cars are boring and lethargic. Lexus gives buyers exactly what they and reliability without a shred of excitement or fun. This is why people buy these cars. It has worked for them for decades. But I think eventually people are going to come to expect more, since the Koreans are making great leaps and strides in luxury and performance. Lexus will need to step it up a notch if they want to remain relevant.

too expensive. and a cvt. I would not call the interior elegant or that much upscale. But they will buy them in CA.

This is the worst midsize crossover in the segment. The competition continues to laugh and ignore its existence since in just about every way it badly falls apart

Mark you shouldn’t have even wasted your time reviewing this illegitimate luxury car. Styling is not subjective as it doesn’t do anything else well. Cars like an m3 or Santa Fe have subjective styling because they more than make up for it in literally every other way
