Is the 2024 Lexus RX 450h a BETTER luxury midsize SUV than a Mercedes GLE 450e?

The RX 450h is a tope selling midsize SUV from Lexus. On the outside you will find a vibrant paint job, unique wheels and special grill. On the inside you will be greeted by a 14in infotainment system, digital gauge cluster and tons of storage. Under the hood is a 2.5L inline-4 hybrid system. I bought one recently and love the vehicle. Only gripe is the low electric mile range. Also battery charging on 120v regular home charger takes 12 hours to fully charge the battery. 240v option charges in about 3 hours or less.

In this car, I think the beige doesn't say "elderly, " but keeps the interior bright as opposed to so cave-like dark.

LOL - MB GLE reliability score is 36, Lexus RX 350 is 69. The 24 MB GLE already has 4 recalls including Electrical system with a fire risk, Detaching Accelerator Pedal causing a crash or injury, Fuel and Engine Oil leaks, fuel system loss of power, and stability control/brakes. Good luck with all that.

For fifty something like my self, I chose the RX500h for added performance. Lexus also offers great resale value so when you're selling it 36 mo. later like I plan to, I will get a good trade-in value for my next purchase.

The front grill design has grown on me. I did not like it at first, but now I do. I really like the back end with Lexus spelled out and the red light going across the back. Nice wheels too, but I would prefer 19".

This is the first RX that I have considered buying. Lexus has finally made the grille digestible. They have also shortened the front overhang. The dashboard still doesn’t impress, but the materials seem to be of very good quality. And the seats, front and back, are extremely comfortable, at least initially.
