Completely agree with you on the 450. I will say that the 350 hybrid is not readily available so you will have to wait for one at this point. 350’s (non-hybrid) and 500 seem easy to get right now.

Great value of content. I currently have a 2021 UX250h and looking for something roomier and a bit more power yet gets over 35mpg average

When electric mode is off (drained) does it drive as regular gas car or it's still Lexus regular hybrid?

For $70k, I'd go for the 2024 Toyota Sequoia with iMax!

I do concern that it lacks the passenger three memory front seat, which is present in two previous generations. I think it's a luxurious feature for a luxury car. A v6 is also absent

They knocked it out of the park on design

I have the RAV4 Prime and EV mode makes it a fun car. I think it would do the same for this otherwise somewhat boring but nice car. If they gave it a little more battery and a little more power in the back motor I think it would be very attractive. I much prefer the look of the NX 450 h+, but with money still being a big factor I’d go for a top spec Prime. I drive EV most of the time and the engine sounds fine to me on the freeway. You get so used to driving electric that when you drive it in hybrid mode and stomp on it, it’s kind of fun to hear the noise. But in this space, if I had the money I might go for the Volvo XC 90 plug in hybrid for the extra power.

Speccing out comparable Mercedes and BMW and they come out far more expensive than the RX when taking into account price, reliability, and fuel efficiency.

It’s $90, 000 in Canada. Only comes in fully loaded form. Priced above even the 500h.

Great review, the numbers are crazy. We have a 19 RX350L Luxury. It is such a smooth vehicle we kept it instead of trading in on our new LX.

I was looking forward for this RX plug in but it’s not worthy for the price. I might go for the GX

I think Lexus should have added at least 15hp and improved PHEV powertrain refinement in the RX to make it more worthy of the pricetag. Hate how the TX is a blatantly rebadged Grand Highlander. Would get the RX or GX over that one any day

I just guess I'm cheap $70 grand for a car is nuts.

I like the exterior design, thanks Kevin 😀

Not worth it in any of my examinations. $73k for a downsize engine + downsize HP, down power? Hell NO!

I'd rather spend it on a Mazda CX 50 fully spec'd and STILL have change to buy a Jet ski.

100k euro in Belgium... just no. Checked it out while going on maintenance with my Lexus GS. Build quality starting to fall off a bit... console tunnel moving around, lots of cheap plastics left and right. Not worth the money anymore.
