I am not a CEO of the company so my list is long but doable to keep in my paper diary. It looks like when trying Notion or any other GTD sofrware I would take more time and energy just to keep all those list updated. I rather use that energy to do the thing rather then reschedulle or think about processing. I find it funny to plan “ movie with kids” and then “do popcorn” and before that “shop popcorn”. GTD is for people with too much time on their hand, no kids, no other ouside activities but only watching screen on comp or iphone or ipad. Things like Asana already occupying us enough at work.

Hi, it's me again :D I've bought complete notion 2.0 and must say... It's amazing. Real time (and life-)saver!
It took me few hours to transfer almost everything that I wanted to have inside, but it's totally worth it.

I have another question, looking for the best solution.

I have 1 online (zoom-live) course which lasts 12 weeks = 12 zoom meetings. Enrolment is 2-3 times a year.
How would you manage the knowledge?
I need to have:
1) a page with universal plan and notes, so I can duplicate them to each edition in the future
2) a page that will be copied to ongoing edition, so I can take notes about the process, homeworks and other relevant stuff in the course
3) Notes to each client, to chase their progress and job done.

So, the 3 I did in clients, which is now a great CRM.
But don't know how to manage te first and second... Project? Knowledge page?

I'll really appreciate your advice 😊

Funny, the first thing I did was adding a do-date to your template 😂 I changed a lot in it (sorry) but I'm really happy that I bought it. I've got two more books coming out soon and I really needed something to keep a better track of things. I've linked everything together, so everything is inside the page of my projects. Including the databases I’ve made myself. The basics are still the same but made it way bigger than it was 😂

I need to purchase your template- Notion just hurts my brain trying to figure out how to utilize it most efficiently for my design studio.

Is there a way to transfer already existing database of todos and related projects into your template? Cannot find an easy way to do it...

This looks amazing, I'm just trying to figure out if this would help me be more productive at work. We're already using Asana at the moment and me trying to switch to this system would probably end up with me working both systems. In other words, I'd be doing everything twice. Shame though, would really like to give it a try.

Great and inspiring video as always!
I have a little question: where do you get these awsome dotted arrows that you use? Would love to know :)

Not sure what i'm missing, but my Notion doesn't look anything like yours. So right from the start you've lost me. Is that a specific template you are using?

How would you implement CLIENTS database within a template based on PARA method (Forte Labs). Should we consider them as a RESOURCE? or essentially a completely different DATABASE (like AREAS, PROJECTS, ACTIVE TASKS....)?

Very cool!
I have a question. Is it possible to create a dependent drop-down list in Notion database?
Suppose I have a list of objects that I want to give a category and a sub-category. The sub-category should only show options that are related to the selected Category. Sometimes, it is called linked drop-down lists. Please help!

Hey Simon, could you recommend where to begin in your playlist of videos as someone who has absolutely no clue about Notion? I'm intrigued, but as a beginner, it's very overwhelming. I'm finding it a little unclear if there's a 'Start here if you're a beginner' video on your channel or if these are all targetted at existing Notion users

I love your template! I do have a question: how do I change the formula for the logged practices so that it shows the progress that I made that week? Now it is keeping the progress (".. out of ...", and the progress bar) for the entire year. But I would like to see my progress for the current week (Monday to Sunday).

10.47 How did you make that filter where you see projects related to that task only ? This is so important for me. Please help me.

Hello, min 6:10 you talk about adding a new task. I've recently bought the latest os version but the tick box has been replaced with staus. The problem I'm having is in the task inbox and filters - the one I downloaded has 2 rules - where related project is empty and staus is done. This meant I wasn't able to see the tasks. Do I change it to one rule, where related project is empty instead? Thank you in advance and sorry for messaging you - I was looking through all your other videos to try and find the answer. Ed
