Transylvania means “The country beyond the forest” (latin) and afaik the hungarian name is Ardeal/Erdely (?). I’ve never heard it called Szekely country before, Szekely is a common hungarian family name😲
Also, not all our weddings are crazy lol, those traditions are usually more frequent in rural areas, the rest of us stick to a civil ceremony+church wedding and a reception after.
Fun to watch though
PS Moldova and Moldavia are the same historical region/province but the former Soviet Union decided to take half of it just because.
PPS “Salina Turda” is essentially a salt mine, very picturesque and not the only one, “salina” literally means salt mine. If you ever do visit, include few famous caves in your itinerary for sure

When accounting invasion attempts to Romania, Moldova doesn't count. We Moldavians are ethnic Romanians. We live in two states because of our "friends" which occupied 50% of Moldova (eastern half) in 1812 and started colonizing foreign populations among us. When we corrected this, in 1918, the "friends" were not happy so they arranged with Hitler (Ribbentrop-Molotov) to break Moldova again in a Romanian half and a Soviet quarter (plus another quarter given to Ukraine).
