*Occurs when you send or receive messages and when you assign meaning to another person’s signals.
What is an Organization?
*A social unit of people, systematically structured and managed to meet a need or to pursue collective goals on a continuing basis
*All organizations have a management structure that determines relationships between functions and positions, and subdivides and delegates roles, responsibilities, and authority to carry out defined tasks
*Interdependence as well as with external environment
*Dynamic systems in which individuals engage in collective efforts for goal accomplishment

Coordinating activity

External Communication

*May be informal or a formal or department providing communication in various forms to employees

2. External Communication:
*It is the communication with people outside the company
*Supervisors communicate with sources outside the organization, such as vendors and customers
*It leads to better:
