I work at a store Very similar to DK oldies. Resurfacing GameCube discs is extremely dangerous. Most of the time it will not fix the game, and will make it unplayable. If the game is scratched always test it first, just cause it’s super scratched doesn’t mean it won’t work, GameCube games are surprisingly resilient

Pretty sure you’re not supposed to use those disc refurbishers on GameCube games, literally ruins them.

Loading the main screen doesnt mean it works could be a smoke where it still wont load a part in the game had this issue with zelda windwaker everytime I beat the first dragon boss ontop the mountain it load a scene and freeze
