IF YOU CAN'T FIND THIS RIG

the easiest way to use it is create a level sequence, and drag the metahuman from the top right where your level contents are, into the sequence.

Then you can drop down the sub menus under the metahuman in the sequence, and when you click each of the rigs they'll appear to use

Small Tip: If you want to reset the Controller, just select it and press Ctrl+G. It'll reset it to 0.

Some of the 'unnatural' facial movements describe Rowan Aitkinson to a t... This is something as a senior 3D generalist, I have been waiting for years. Facial rigging is THE most time consuming and intense part of any rigging. Can't wait to use this and pull off cinematics, big up to the devs!

Opening and closing the eyes (and looking around) instantly made it come alive. This is an amazing rig, but I can't imagine painstakingly animating even a couple of sentences for this thing. I hope there is automated facial animation mocap in the works.

This video was 10% me learning how to use the software and 90% me being amazed at how the full expressiveness of the human face can be captured by a few controls.

Amazing... and a great presentation !!
All we need are some nice reset buttons, a clever way to do multi-selection, and the capacity to save set of expressions... especially syllables !!!

I don't know if this can already be done, as i need to download the project. but it would be good if you can save "presets" with the face.
so you could make a happy expression, sad etc. as well as alphabet sounds saved as presets. so you can work heavily on each one. and then when needed, load the desired expression for further tweaking.
it is already fast! it's got to what you can do with blending morph targets together but more versatile. without having to make each expression again for each character you make.
but having the functionality to do that will make it even faster.

obviously workflow for games might change at this point, but i'm used to the morph target route. so i am interested to see how it will all play out in actual development

amazing work to the team here. it's phenomenal. even just to be able to get a good looking 3d character is hard enough. so this is a great way to make it more accessible to so many more developers

How do you select the controls? This tutorial jumps into it without showing what to do once the project is opened.

would be cool if he walked us through how to get to where he is at. When I launch metahumans in ue I dont have the options he shows.

I believe that they should implement the ability for us to overlay images that we can use as guides.

This tutorial isn't showing how to select the controls, how is he able to select the individual controls like that? When I try to select in the viewport like this, it just selects the entire face rig in the outliner. I've watched a few tutorials on control rig including this one and nothing allows me to select the controls. I've tried the animation mode but it's the same. Please help!
