Back in the day, when I purchased my first home to live-in; that was Miami in the early 1990s, first mortgages with rates of 8 to 9% and 9% to 10% were typical. People will have to accept the possibility that we won't ever return to 3%. If sellers must sell, home prices will have to decline, and lower evaluations will follow. Pretty sure I'm not alone in my chain of thoughts.

Inflation is already down to 4% it is just a question of time until it is at 2%. Honestly we only need to be close to 2%.

In southern California, you’d have to make 6 figures, in order to buy a crack house 😂. I really hope a 3bed 2bath house in a descent neighborhood go back to 500k one day. 😕

Not going down unless millions of more homes are built. The one major factor that created this shortage was the regulations that went into effect after the 2008. Building started slowing down at that point, and never keep up with demand, which happened slowly, until 2020, which exposed all of our flaws. If you voted for the liberals that make these regulations, please do not complain, as you voted for expensive home prices.
