About an hour ride to the casino for me. I usually pop this on as a daily reminder on the way because I don’t have all ranges instilled in my head and don’t play everyday. After 3 days or 4 off with a hectic life, it’s easy to make a blunder when you aren’t locked in!

Your talk on “protection betting” really resonates with me. I noticed I started making a lot more in cash games by shifting my mindset away from “protecting” my hand against draws, and more towards giving the draws a bad price.

Draws miss more often than they hit, so you should be making bet sizes where you’re happy if your opponent calls with their draws.

Hey Phil.. I dont really expect a reply, but would appreciate one. How u feel about the open limp? I been playing alot lately, and I usually raise or fold pre.. but ive started limping pockets pairs from earlier positions.. 2's-6's. U think its best to fold those? Or just raise and if U get 3 bet go set mining and if u brick just fold? What u think

That said, I once went on a 22 session win streak, and your advice regarding how it is possible to go on a bigger losing streak than you ever imagined really hits somewhere out there I know there's a 23 session losing streak, even if I play like a beast. It keeps me sober on the felt
