How can someone call these brutal? Most of these are like 2:1 or 3:1. Hell, one is even a coin flip. Sure some of the play was questionable. But that's not what I consider a brutal beat. When I see a title of 'brutal eliminations' I expected to see people getting all-in needing 2 running cards and hitting them. Or maybe one of those sick occurrences where someone has like quads vs str8 flush. Someone making a questionable call and then winning a coin flip is not a brutal beat.

I have to agree with others - if you're calliing these brutal, then you're basically calling any "all-in preflop hand where you get knocked out despite being ahead" brutal. It takes a bit more than losing from ahead - to be brutal, I'd say that the opponent had to make a seemingly obvious big misplay.

As an example, one I still stew about ~6 years later is when I shoved a limped pot from the dealer button with QQ. I got one call - 27 suited. I mean, even if you thought I was bluffing that's still an almost certain misplay, as my bluff hand would have to be pretty freaking awful for 27s to be a +EV call there.

And of course, my opponent hit the flush, hence it actually being brutal and being remembered 6 years later on.
