I worked for tobacco company.. The conspiracies are mostly true, One no one mentions often is the fact that no one who works for a tobacco company smokes themselves. Then there's the light cigarette thing. When you cut down on the tar and other bad chemicals you get from a cigarette it also cuts down on the nicotine. So people who switch to lights end up smoking twice as many

Ha! I worked at all 4 of those Mattress Firms on that corner. They bought other chains that all had stores on that corner. Everntually, they closed all but 1 of them.

11:03 I *highly* recommend the 1971 CLASSIC movie, "Cold Turkey"! Norman Lear was so far ahead of his time here! Basic plot: As a publicity stunt surely NO one will collect, a tobacco company offers $25M to any city in America that quits smoking for 30 days. Of course, impossible but a laudable gesture. Enter little, beleaguered, Eagle Rock, Iowa... Even when I was still an active, unapologetic smoker, I *loved* this movie and own the DVD!
