Love this song so much! My husband and I were both crying while watching this song together, we both remembered our parents, ourselves and our daughter. My husband lost his Mom, and I lost my Dad, we only can hope that our 3yo daughter will get a chance to see us growing old together, and one day when she’s older she will see us like how Jax sees her parents. Everytime I hear this song it brings me to tears!! I wish my Dad was still hear cause I would play this for him!! He loved my Mom so much even though they weren't together when he passed. He lived in NC while my Mom & us kids lived in WV but the week he died he was going to come here to get my Mom back & have his family back together with her & us kids!! September the 2nd made 20 years he's been gone!! This song is so beautiful & makes me think about him because all I ever wanted was a man like my father, he was my everything & I was Daddies girl!! Finally I got one & we been together 9years, if only my Dad was here to see/meet him & his grandkids!! 😢💖

Just heard your song & cried, I lost my dad in April 2016 & my mom in Oct 2021. I’m 40 and never married because I believed there were no men like my daddy, before he passed you would catch him starring at my mom, she would shyly say, What? And he would say You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, how did I get so lucky with tears. This happened often ❤️ Well a few months before I lost my mom I found a man like that! This song is our relationship & why I never married waiting for him. We plan on getting married & I would love to play this as I walk down the aisle especially since I no longer have my parents it will be like they are still a part of it ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for sharing this song with the world.
