Incredible generosity, providing the OpenCore EFI for all processor types! This step alone prevented me from doing this on my own. I'll be sending in my gratitude to support your efforts.

just a note to anyone trying this since it isn't mentioned,
if your CPU is 11th gen or higher, your iGPU won't work. All NVIDIA RTX cards don't work and most GTX cards only work up to High Sierra. If you have an intel 10th gen or lower CPU with an iGPU, you're fine. If you have an intel 11th gen+ and a compatible AMD GPU (Navi support is 6900XT and lower, Polaris (400/500) support is all except lexa core rx 550s (and xfx 560/460s)) then it will work. Intel 10th gen and lower and an RTX card will also work but you will have to use the iGPU on your CPU.

Hackintosh has these weird stupid thingies but tldr
No NVIDIA GPUs (in ventura, high sierra supports most GTX Cards and big sur supports kepler)
No 7000 series AMD GPUs (6900XT and lower are fine except for lexa core 550s)
No Intel 11th Gen+ iGPUs
AMD iGPUs maybe (depends on gen)
AMD CPUs yes but you have to apply patches before installation

Seriously, thank you, I was following another tutorial and it was confusing and nothing worked, but this was easy to follow. Great video!

I followed the guide in the video, but the method did not work at first. When trying to boot from the USB installer, the computer would scroll several lines of code, then opencore would appear. After selecting the "install macOS Ventura" device, more lines of code would scroll, then all text would become garbled. The "flashing prohibited sign" would show up in the background. While messing with this, the SSD that was also in the system had a macOS High Sierra installation already present on it from a Mac Pro that I used previously. Note: This was a DosDude1 patched install of High Sierra for MacPro 3, 1. I attempted to boot from the SSD, and to my amazement, it booted up and had very few issues. High Sierra is still quite an outdated OS, so I naturally wanted to upgrade to ventura. I made sure to complete the post install to the best of my ability with High Sierra, then when confirming the machine will reboot properly, I attempted to simply do a direct macos upgrade; using the (somewhat) official way. Normally, The Mac App Store would download only a minimal image, and you need an apple ID, annd many other conditions to be met, this was too annoying, so I decided not to do it. I instead decided to download macOS externally to avoid the Mac App Store, but did everything else the official way. I downloaded the Ventura OS file with Munki's "InstallInstallmacOS utility" this can be run with the folowing command (on a mac).

After using this tool to download macOS, I opened the file and proceede to upgrade macOS, keeping all the existing efi files from the video guide. The Ventura Install completed and was successful. I now have a (mostly) perfectly working hackintosh. Just thought I'd share if anyone was in a similar situation at all.

My hardware:
MBD: ASRock Z270 Gaming
CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K
RAM: 8GB 2133 MHz DDR4
GPU: XFX Radeon RX 580 8GB
SSD: Inland SATA 480GB

guys i wanted to add a important comment for does that dont have a powerful PC. i have an optiplex 7010 it runs an i-7 3770 with an normal amd hd radeon graphics the point it that the tutorial 100% works but, the is no deference with an virtual machine. for example if your pc dosnt have an wifi card built in and you are using D-LINK wifi adapter your mac would not connect to the internet. you need to use iphone hotspot via cable. anotherthing is that non of the apple services actually works and i dont now why. for example imassage wont work face time didnt work and etc. but i think if we actually use a older version of macos for example bigsur we might have an smoother work. hope this helped!

Fun Fact: there is a version of opencore called opencore legacy patcher. It’s opencore but for installing newer macOS on older unsupported mac

In case youre having the same problem i had, where it would reboot back to windows during the installation process because you chose to install it on a new partition of the same disk that you use for windows, heres how to fix it:
1. go to bios
2. set boot priority to the usb stick you used
3. save and exit
4. boot from the usb stick again and let it run. Here, it will reboot automatically multiple times and let you choose to run windows or install macos. You can just ignore this and do nothing, it will proceed automatically
then it should work, at least it did for me

READ ---> if you get stuck on the command interface after booting into the MacOS installer, move your flash drive to a USB 2.0 port. Mine was in a 3.0 and would freeze. Also use USB ports on the back of your motherboard, not the ones on top of your PC chasse if you are still having issues. The port makes a big difference.

fix how

The system found unauthorized changes on the firmware, operating system or UEFI drivers.

Press [N] to run the next boot device, or enter directly to BIOS Setup if there are no other boot devices installed. Go to BIOS Setup > Advanced > Boot and change the current boot device into other secured boot devices.
