I didn't first try to update then upgrade. I just hit upgrade to macOs Ventura and it worked just fine.

I am really hoping that with this new OS upgrade my Mac Mini will handle RAM utilization alot better than it does on Monterey. That seems to be the only issue that I have had since owning my Mac Mini for the past 14 months. Everything else that Apple has done with this hardware/software has been nothing less than GREAT, and I can honestly say that Apple Silicon has been kicking ass when it comes to any task that I through at it. With that being said M1/M2 chips are here so Intel and AMD be scared…….. Be very very scared lol.

well worth the upgrade. even though the voice I am now useing on voiceover no longer pronounces my last name properly or even says linux properly, however, gave the clock a look at and set a test alarm that will go off tomorrow, its like my mac feels like a whole new computer
