The CEO has said "we are just about ready to go" about 20 times over the past three months.

I think this 30 year old smaller cruise ship will have more mechanical issues in the future-even if retrofitted. Hopefully they don't get stranded in the middle of the ocean. The ocean movement on a smaller boat like that will be more intense. A windowless inside stateroom is around $120K, plus about $2000 a month in fees. A room with a balcony is $300K plus $4500 a month - assuming double occupancy. So over 3 years total cost for a standard balcony room is $462K -- You could see alot of the world for less than what they charge including flight and hotel. I think I would get tired of seeing the same boat for 3 years. "To each their own"

the millionaire owners of the ship are using YOUR MONEY to finance repairs they should have made before hand. Interest free....

Hahah the three hour tour the weather started getting rough. The tiny ship was tossed if not for the courage of the fearless crew the piece of S would be lost.

I’m amazing there was no mention of “at the same ship yard the titanic was built” the news usually loves any mention of the titanic

This is so stupid I don't understand why anybody would book something like this without the ship being 100% ready and I love cruising but I would never want to spend years aboard the same Cruise ship. And this is not the first time we've seen stories about Long Haul cruises like this where the passengers were all inconvenienced by delays and cancellations. And why are companies like this allowed to sell bookings before they have a ship ready how is that even legal?

Why would anyone ever actually want to be on a cruise ship for 3.5 years?

it takes a special kind of stupid to sell your home to live on a boat for 3 years...a boat that you don't own....a boat that you will pay monthly fees for using 12 years after you get off. wtf?

Irony. This cruise ship is being repaired by the company who built Titanic.
00:13 look at the picture. It's literally parked at Harland & Wolff
Harland & Wolff look it up. How the company survived this long after Titanic is amazing.

That couple paid all that money for a view of a lifeboat. That tiny cabin with that view would drive me insane.
