i think by "support" valve means the game will no longer be updated, so community servers probably will stay up, but it's just my guess

Since this is true I dont see why valve didnt just release cs2 as its own game then and just make it so you can no longer que val servers on csgo it woulda solved so much anger from the community

When I switch the drop down to community servers it says “you have launched a legacy version of the game that is no longer supported blah blah blah” and does… edit: got it to work but when I died to connect to a server it says it failed after 30 retries.

They're keeping it for demos. I doubt they're gonna delete it completely since they want older demos to be replayable.

They still not releasing any new skin since CS 2 released, but I'm pretty sure if those skin released the CSGO will shut down because it can not 'read' the Source 2 skins

Why does it re-download whenever I try play it?

How come if i switch back to cs2 then i try to go back into csgo it makes me download the files every time

Basically csgo end of life was Valve shutting Down csgo skins and local deathmatch servers. And maybe exploit and security fixes i would be wrorried a little bit playing unofficial servers there can be ip adress exploit that wont be fixed by Valve
