12:17 I see both GPUs are installed in the bottom slots. The top slot typically has more PCIE lanes directly connected to the CPU and therefore work a bit faster.

Really enjoyed watching you working on this with your kids. I celebrated each of their victories. :)

The last time I built a PC was over 20 years ago. My eyes got wide looking at your kids' motherboard layouts, OMG! The GPU itself looked HUGE compared to what I had to deal with, plus all the "tubes" (or were they cords?) going to different components. Wow! It was great seeing them get to post! Yay!

Addie and Chloe, you both did AWESOME!!! I love it! I have taught all my kids how to take apart or build a pc, laptop, tablet, pi, goofy little robots, etc. Whatever I have been working on, they have been working on. My oldest recently installed some new RAM in her laptop. (OH sidenote: ALL daughters here too. Just one less than you. 😜) We are looking at getting one of them a PC and she will build it. They all know a bit of programming and can navigate most simple troubleshooting issues on a PC. I LOVE tech and I LOVE teaching em tech. It's so worth it! Keep it up! Do more with them!!

all respect to this guy, this might be his hardest video ever, working on expensive stuff with kids is insanity. with one kid its hard, with two at same time id say impossible, but he did it somehow.

That was an awesome video! I can totally identify- so much fun (and frustration!) building a first PC with your kids, but I love how it teaches them more about how a computer works and gives them that satisfaction that they did it themselves. Your daughter's reactions are so priceless! I built a PC with my oldest son when he was 9, and looking forward to building with my 7 year old when he's old enough. Such a great project and video!

A) Amazing effort by everyone involved. B) My nephew made the same "surprise face" when I built a computer with him several years ago and said "now we test it by booting the machine" and proceeded to use my screwdriver to jump the two pins for the power button. Bravo!

Wow! This is awesome, I'm planning on a similar approach with my daughter. It was really helpful to see the struggles you went through since all she cares about is Fortnite and Roblox as well. The way you raise your kids girls is amazing!
