Because many of us are in the worst financial position, we're actually in the BEST position. The lockdown is forcing many of us to look at how we're making money.

How you see things is how you do things.

Helping people over the phone and via Zoom, we've heard many excuses. Here are the most common money-making excuses people are telling themselves.

As a coach and entrepreneur, my BS filter got full very quickly.

1. Excuse that I Can’t Do Anything
2. Excuse that I Can’t Make Money
3. Excuse to Be Sick (and hide behind covid-19, even if you don't have it)
4. Excuse to Get a Bailout, Increase Dependance on Government
5. Excuse to make Changes and Improve

Dang I really enjoyed this video probably more than any of the others! Because the past videos and this video are in such a different universe it feels like. I really love how you said to use this as an opportunity to get better. I remember being in bootcamp for the Navy and being in the same place for so long and seeing the same things over and over. Same in jail time. So then when you're around others who have never been locked inside even a beautiful home, man I can definitely feel their tension and frustration. Kids home 24 7. But I've been using headphones when I'm doing dishes and trying to find ways to learn in shitty situations, so listening to videos like this and Patrick, those times we get in something we dont enjoy doing, baby music blasting, YouTube videos from kids' phones blasting, its difficult to get away in your head. Also loved how you said it's more mental than physical. Cuz hell yeah it is. Also about using the backyard as a gym. I've got like 2 20 lb dumbells and a 25, and some stretch bands, with a jump rope and that's it lol. This was fantastic though. Spoke loud to me. Trying to work a side hustle that's now turning into full time while at home with a full house. Kicked one of the kids out of their room and had to use it as a small studio/office lol. But man the fighting the distractions and noise, stuck all inside, its tough and challenging, but like you said Matt, lockdown in USA, running water, internet, phones, we got it blessed here. Have a great weekend Matt thanks

Use a crisis to get better! Create the next best version of yourself! Eliminate excuses. 5 excuses people make:
Feeling powerless
1. I can’t do anything
2. I can’t make money
3. I’m sick (I got the Rona)
4. Depending on a government bailout
5. Change & improve
There’s something we can always do! Being locked down is more mental than physical. Who can really determine if you’re essential or not?

I really appreciate the value of this! I'm relieving the excuse of "Not being good enough". This whole pandemic has been a deep self-reflection journey for sure! Definitely tackling this false sense of inadequacy.
