My idea on your deck plate ;
Being a welder/fabrication guy for two decades and a machinist for 5 years before that.

My 2 cents : drill the frame holes bigger and use a urathane bushing over the original bolts. Everything will look exactly the same on the outside, but now the frame can twist / flex a bit without pinching and shearing the bolts. 🤷 Might work.

Edit: another trucking channel I watch is Bonehead Truckers. 😂 For good laughs 😂

I definitely am subbed to a few trucking YouTube channels. But I will go awhile with out watching them and then I’ll catch up one weekend or while I’m laying in the back of the truck. But I definitely can’t watch them everyday, especially those weeks when the job kicks your ass 😂
