When you create the WM do you set the connection as Bridged or do you use the WM adapters ?

great videos but for me, I'm getting an error
when I try to ping my gateway it says that the destination unreachable
and down there on events, I'm getting some error like
server1 10010 error and so on...what can be the problem??

Hello! May I have some questions? How do you generate a fix, static IP for the server? Can I just allocate one from within the subnet range I am on and see in the ipconfig table as IPv4 Address with the custom subnet mask? Why do we have to find a new IP by the way, why not just give the one we read in the ipconfig? (When WS 2019 is installed on a physical machine, not virtualized.) Should the DNS server IP be identical with what I see in the ipconfig? If not, how do I generate an IP for the DNS server? I think that my router does not function as a DNS server. Thank you.

Is the server acting as the router or do you have a separate device? I cannot ping the router as you show.
