I tried to sing this once at karaoke... I was clinically dead for 2 minutes 🤣

Rob has a very versatile voice. The guy can sing anything.

The only problem I have with this video, and I always love your reactions, is that it's a reaction to Judas Priest and your thumbnail is not Judas Priest. It's KK Downings band after he left JP.

I highly recommend the acoustic Judas Priest cover of the old Joan Biaz song Diamonds and Rust. Rob has an incredible range.

You should check out some of their stuff from the 70’s. Beyond the realms of death. Victim of changes. Dreamer deceiver to name a few. It will blow your mind!

I'm a die-hard JP fan and this is one for the books! I've seen them many times in concert and every single lineup has been epic. Every member is a genius in their own right.

Band photo at the start is "KK´s Priest" (K.K.Downing is Judas Priest songwriter, solo guitarist and founder of the band)

They've been rocking for 50 years! Screaming for Vengance is sitting on my turntable.
Classically trained singers ALWAYS comment on Rob's diction. Specifically when he rolls the Rs.

Judas Priest- Victim of Changes (live) shows what Rob Halford can do vocally

You almost got the thumbnail picture in the background correct. It's actually a picture of KK Downing (original Judas Priest guitarist) and Tim "Ripper" Owens (2nd lead singer for Judas Priest) in a band picture for KK's band after he left Priest.

I saw them live on the Painkiller tour and it was 100% the loudest night of my life.
Their song "Touch of Evil" shows more of the vocals without as much of the sonic distraction from the massive drums and guitars.

This is THE song you play, when someone ask... What is Heavy Metal?

Judas Priest is a lot, you say? They are supposed to be a lot! The music revolution of the 1960s had grown to the point where it was not simply merging rock and other forms, folk, blues, country.. It was inventing new things. Metal was one of them and was both very new but at the same time a return to the energetic and 'shocking' roots of rock and roll. New in style, but old in spirit. As someone who grew into adolescence as rock and roll was first being born, I am pleased beyond saying that this new form of music, this new music that was OURS, is still going strong in all of its many many forms and still gaining new fans.

Glad you could listen to Judas Priest...and this is one of their all-time best songs...but in order to appreciate it more, you must delve deeper into their earlier catalog...this song arrived in 1990, and was on their 12th album (their first album was released in 1974)...they are still touring today, so 48yrs since their first album. Rob Halford is on the short list of the greatest rock/metal singers of all time. Btw, that band photo in your video is not Judas Priest...it's their ex-lead guitarist's band KK's Priest.

Awesome.

I remember posting this in the Discord as a suggestion.

Really wanted Maggie to be introduced to Judas Priest.

9:06 ... It s said that once he started as being 2ond opera singer at his earliest 20s. He could easily out-perform back then any opera, piece of cake. Try "Deceiver/Dream Deceiver". Yw.

EDIT : the pic at 12:05 shouldnt be there.

1:01 that picture is not Judas Priest, it's a different band formed by ex Judas Priest guitar player KK Downing

The man is 70 and still performs live and it's amazing. Crazy.

I was NOT excpecting Maggie to be that into Painkiller! I mean I almost thought she was gonna start headbanging there for a second!

Metal music is like a drug; you gotta start slow before you move onto the harder stuff.
