Even if someone doesn't like heavy metal music it is undeniable how talented Iron Maiden is both musically and the voice of Bruce Dickinson is beyond amazing.

There's two types of people in this world. Iron Maiden fans and people who haven't listened to them yet.

Cool fun fact: They played this live for the first time about a week before the album dropped 😁 So, the people at this show actually heard this song for the very first time 😊

Aliyah
Steve Harris, founder of Iron Maiden called Bruce Dickinson as "Human Air Siren". A lot of vocalist and coaches are amazed by Bruce's vocals.

Your face tells the story. 🤩 The way I felt the first time I heard this too! Thank you for reacting and making it fresh again for those of us who have loved Maiden for years. We can't go back and hear their songs for the first time but we can experience it through new eyes (and ears). Way to go! Thank you! 🤘❤

It's good to see that you are widening your musical horizons and not just sticking to what you are comfortable with, kudos to you.

Bruce (as well as Nikko and the entire band) is criminally underrated and underappreciated. In MY opinion he's on par with Freddie Mercury and Bon Scott as a singer and frontman. Iron Maiden captured my imagination as an 11 year old and here i sit 40+ years later reliving it all thanks to youtube.

Great review and best of luck in your career as well!

That reaction at 9:17 when you realize that guys older than your grandparents rocked harder than anybody out there today is fantastic. You should also check out some of their more recent stuff, because Bruce's voice is still going strong. I'd recommend The Tailsman from their En Vivo live show in 2012, recorded just before Bruce got a throat cancer diagnosis (which he recovered from and is still the same singer today)

Geoff Tate of Queensryche has a great story telling voice as well, in fact, their album Operation:Mindcrime is like a rock opera as the whole album is one big story

I'm so happy my generation grew up with this kind of music and I'm so sad generations that followed didn't get to grow with this kind of music. I'm so happy that younger generations are rediscovering this kind of music.

That was 40 years ago and they are still on tour now! Try check out their performances in late 80s, 90s, early 2000 & recent one u’ll appreciate how his voice changes over the years, yes it’s slightly different now but he knows how to control & how to take care of his voice!

First, love your smile😊, Bruce came to the band in 1982, , except for a hiatus for several years, has been with Maiden for almost 40 years. He is an iconic vocalist❤🤘

After your spine warms up from the chill of hearing his voice, go back and focusing on the lyrics for a second chill!

This is arguably their greatest hit among scores of hits. Also, this (Live at Hammersmith '82) is the best show for Bruce's vocals. The only problem is the band's catalog isn't very large in 1982. To see the full scope of Bruce's vocal talent as well as that of the band, try Rime of the Ancient Mariner next. Too many songs to suggest further, but my next 2 favs are Wasted Years & The Number of the Beast (no, it's not a satanic song, though the subject is part of the song).
For other great vocals try Queensryche - Take Hold of the Flame (live in Tokyo 1984) & Silent Lucidity, plus Steelheart - She's Gone. Great voices in the metal genre. (Can't remember if you've done these).
Happy belated birthday!!

LOL. Look at you, headbangin to Iron Maiden like an 80's chick. I saw them live twice, they really were that good.
