Great starting book! If you have more math background it’s more challenging brother Elements of Statistical Learning is a tried and true classic. Books aren’t your speed? Andrew Ngs coursera courses on ML are the gold standard.

As coming from mech background, Learning ML is awesome.It just needs your good Maths, logical state of mind.although it does not prove that it is easier, Need only practise as all does!

Now this is an actual good way of learning, i see so much python ml developer doesnt know what behind all those class and function. Everything is abstracted that made us not learning just using.
