I was an infantryman back in 2010. I thought we were all pretty badass. We show up to KAF and spend a few days acclimatizing to the area before heading out to our FOB. One day, heading to lunch, I run into some soldiers from like Romania or something, can't remember what the flag actually was. But some Eastern European unit. And they made the average US infantryman look like we were playing dress-up in our dad's clothes. Like they were all tall, super good looking, muscular dudes. I never looked at us American soldiers the same way after that day. Like those guys were born and bred for war.

i like that they wore THEIR uniforms n the Olympics doesnt give them all the same unified tactical wear for the event but if a foreigner needs help they can find their police or one close enough. i love how proud they all are walking. holding their shoulders and spine straight....walking tall with honor :)
