Congrats on the new toy buddy! I remember you did say you were going to wait to get.. and now you have it! I am a wedding and event photographer in Barcelona - I ve Ben shifting between my Nikon (d600 x 2) and Fujifilm (XT1) ... I love both for different reason but it's time for an upgrade one or the other, I ll be interested to hear for of your thoughts regarding the XT2 image quality and low light.

I was lucky a got one back in September so being using the xt2 for 6-7 months now. Be patient with the focus tracking as at first I was a little disappointed but when you fine tune the system, wow. It's still not as fast as my D750 but the compromises are far less and manageable.

Totally agree with your comments on the booster grip. Functionality brilliant but poorly made.

I also purchased the standard xt2 grip (non battery) and the build quality is exceptional and totally integrates with the camera.

J'ai acquis cet appareil fin Avril cette annee. J'avais le X-T1 en 2014, j'aimais la qualite de l'image surtout pour les portraits mais je le trouvais un peu slow, surtout l'AF. Le X-T2, c'est une autre paire de manches, il est rapide et j'aime surtout la possibilite de programmer tous les controles comme je veux, la video, le AF "Fine tuning", c'est vraiment un bon appareil. Je dois dire que maintenant je le prefere a mon Nikon D810. C'est bien sur d'une utilisation differente mais c'est un plaisir de prendre des photos avec le X-T2...

You have the option to check the battery percentage on the XT2.

you need to do the new firmware update that was given to this camera and maybe about a month ago you would definitely see the difference after downloading that firmware if you have not already done
