I'm trying to turn a usb drive into a hard drive for a hard driveless computer so that when i install linux mint using a disk or a different usb i can save the full linux install onto the "hard drive usb" does this enable that? so it is now recognized as one of the computers partitioned hard drives?

Steps:

OPEN CMD AND TYPE:

diskpart

list disk

SELECT THE DISK TO FORMAT

clean

create partition primary

select partition 1

active

format fs=NTFS

WAIT UNTIL ITS COMPLEETED

exit

NOW JUST COPY ANY WINDOWS TO THE PEN DRIVE AND BOOT IT.
