Are 9 Months of Preparation Enough for UPSC CSE 2022?

With UPSC preparation, start small. Don't plan to study for 12 hours from tomorrow. You will be studying for long periods of time so start small and build consistency. Don't be worried if you're not able to study the 10 hours from day one. No one started a champion to begin with, but many a champions are trained.

UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. Because of this, there
is a lot of competition in this exam. Hence, your UPSC preparation should be strategic, informed and well planned.

Your UPSC preparation should not be based on blind adherence to any program. Rather you should give a thought about how your are preparing. The best way to go forward is to study the blogs and tips given by previous year toppers about how to go about UPSC CSE, and then make your UPSC preparation strategy accordingly.

Doing static subjects like polity, economy, environment, geography and history for your UPSC preparation is a solid bet to increase your chances of clearing this exam. But this must all be supplemented by current affairs for best effect.

There's no shortcut to success.
Do the work.

9 months provided
1. You're sharp (quick learner)
2. You're ready to become a monk for next 9 months
3. You can dedicate 10+ hours each day
P.S: If starting from scratch. Good Luck :)

You will have to focused on the selective books that is -
For Polity - just Read Laxmikanth
For Economy - NCERT 9. 11 and 12th + Newspaper +Planning
For Geography - NCERT 11 and 12th
For History - Bipin chandra Fine art 1 and 2 part
Environment - Curren Affairs.
9th month is enough to Crack the civil services exam.
I have started my preparation from Yesterday and I'm pretty sure that I'll be definitely Crack this exam..

GD is an integral part of your journey and it'll make your preparation very easier and just sharing the topics with friends and discuss them.

If you are aware of things happening around the world. I can bet that, you will be able to solve at least 15 questions in prelims without any dedicated preparation. If you prepare you can clearly pass the prelims in 9 months but the mains part will depend on many other factors such as how fast you can write legibly. How good are you with maps et etc.

Sir, with utmost and all due respect. This is disappointing on your part as a mentor that you are being hypocritical with your statements. In one video you mentioned that you cannot do it if you do not start 2 years prior and now 9 months is a long time. Your statement really left an impact on me.

People are mad...all they have to do is study instead of thinking about 9 months, because either you will clear in 9months or you will have a very good chance for clearing the next one which is (9+12) 21 months later

Sir, I'm stuck totally. Everytime I'm starting my preparation so dedicatedly, but it lasts only for 2-3 months. After that I get exhausted or distracted and its leading to a big fracture in my preparation. Now I lost self confidence and starting to procrastinate. I don't know where I'm leading towards 😔😔. I feel I'm wasting hell of time.
